Under your account settings you'll be able to change your name, avatar, preferred language, notification preferences and manage your aliases. It's not possible to change your email address.
To access your account settings, click your avatar on the bottom left and select "Account Settings"
An alias is a convenient way for agents to adopt alternative name for their communication. This feature comes in handy for agents as they can chat with customers using an alias instead of their private account name.
Internally in notes you write in chats or anywhere else that is not customer-facing, your set account name will be displayed and not your alias.
To create an alias, simply click on plus icon inside the "User aliases" section.
A popup window will appear, prompting you to upload your avatar and enter your desired display name for alias, additionally email signature name and content should be filled. Once done, click the Create button to create your new alias.
You can also choose to set the new alias as the default identity for your profile by ticking the checkbox Set as default.
Note! Users can either have none or one default alias. If a user already has a default alias and selects another one as default, the previous default alias will be automatically deselected.
To modify an existing alias, simply click it and the same pop-up with show up, or click the cross icon inside the alias to delete it. A pop-up will appear to confirm your deletion choice.
